PTRKN-BATAN Abstract conducted wonderful a study and analysis of the development of the steam generators of nuclear power plants PWR to determine the reliability, performance, and potential incompatibility steam generators. Steam generator including one of the most important systems in a nuclear power plant, because the steam generator is used to generate steam to drive a turbine that is required. Nuclear Power Plant (NPP) is a type PWR power reactor that uses water as a moderator and enriched uranium as fuel. Studies in previous studies of this steam generator is the mechanism of degradation caused by fretting, wastage, crack, and fatigue. To minimize the degradation is recommended to perform maintenance activities consistent. The study was conducted by collecting data related reactor system along with the steam generator of PWR nuclear power plants. These should include a review of the criteria and safety requirements, a review of the development wonderful of the steam generator design, as well as various types of PWR nuclear power plant operating experience. PWR nuclear power plant operating experience shows good performance, and until now there has never been a PWR nuclear power plant suffered a fatal accident. These should include an assessment of some types of PWR steam generators wonderful of nuclear power plants in the United States and France From the discussion it can be seen how the design of PWR nuclear power plant steam generator is developed from first design to final design. It can be concluded that the design and safety technology of PWR nuclear power plant steam generator is developed in stages to meet increased reliability. Today the design of PWR steam generators have been developed more compact, vertical, high quality steam, and demonstrate the ability of operation and better efficiency.
